Abstract
Purpleback flying squid is one of the most potential fishery resources in the South China Sea. The squid is mainly caught by light falling-net fishing vessels. It is of great significance to develop the light falling-net fishing fishery of purpleback flying squid. Combined with the research status at home and abroad, the current situation and existing problems of light attract falling-net fishing technology in the South China Sea were summarized from three aspects: fishery situation prediction, light net fishing technology and fish collecting lamp. ① In terms of fishing ground forecasting, the basic research on light falling-net fishery is not comprehensive, and there is a lack of fishery data. The prediction model parameters are single, and the accuracy rate of predicting high-yield fishery is low. ② In terms of light falling-net fishing technology, the proportion of juvenile fish in fishing is high, the selectivity of fishing is low and the performance of fishing gear is less studied. In the future, the falling-net and tuna longline fishing industry can be developed. ③ In terms of fishing lamps, LED as the future development trend of fishing lamps, although it has the advantages of energy saving, low-voltage start and spectral controllability, there are a series of problems to be solved at the technical and application levels. It is concluded that there is a broad space for the development of purpleback flying squid fishery in the South China Sea, and relevant research should be strengthened in the future.
